is it normal for this external wideband to fluctuate between 0.3 afr 3 times per second ? anybody else experienced this ?

well i set my ground to rocker cover (same as ecu) fuse insert for the 12+v with 10amp inline fuse , set wide band smoothing on kpro to maxium(only for kprov4), now fluctuations appear to be 0.1afr (maximum) 3times per second rather than 0.3 - 0.4afr (0.5 maximum) 3times per second , conclusion to me is that refresh rate on kpro is much faster than that of the gauge and it doesn't matter where you take the 12v from and ground to smoothing makes the difference however its much safer to do it the way its recommended but results are much 5 times more accurate afr tuning :D ...... if anyone knows of other ways to improve stability of afr please post

Okay so been researching a little further and found that the blue wire from the aem is a rs232 which should work as a digital input, so I have some questions, how do I use the digital inputs on kpro4, I saw a picture of the board and it looks as though it's a wire harness that plugs in the board as analog inputs do can anybody confirm this? And also would I benefit using digital inputs over analog inputs?

We only support the 30-2310. For some reason the 30-4100 has a different digital output from the 30-2310.

You have the 30-4100 digital input as a preset in kmanager, however if this is not supported il stick with analog inputs, cpl for some reason did not install the wiring harness for digital input on my kpro I will do this tomorrow

Is there any truth to Post #20 from the link above stating that the blue serial wire can go to "IN-"? The majority of AEM gauges people buy are the 30-4100 and it is a preset. Hondata, what do you recommend on this critical feature?

I've tried every pin on digital input and got no signal to kpro not even a corrupt signal, was a waste of time and effort for me just thought it would be interesting so see how accurate the digital signal could be, the analogue signal seems to be good got a stable 13.2 reading on aem gauge after tune, I'm going boost (gt35r) this year I'm hoping analogue input is accurate enough to tune with
