Kpro wideband wiring

Post by s2000Honda »

ive been lurking around trying to figure out how to wire in my aem widebannd into the ecu. Nothing give me exact direction on how it is to be wired. Hopefully someone can help me out.

I have a 00 s2k with kpro v4.

- Do i wire the gauge power and ground to the ecu wiring?
- Signal wire is to connect to the eld 15 wire, cut and connect?
- I am keeping the gauge wired still to read along side running closed loop, is it safe to be hard wired into the ecu wires while still powering the gauge?
- What are the supplied pigtails for?

Wiring is not my strong point.. thanks in advanced

Use a separate power feed and use the a common good ground, there is a nice one close to the ecu and hood latch.
Since you got kpro4 you should not use ELD input, use one of the 8 separate analog inputs or the digital input (some AEM widebands might not support this though).
If you want you can remove both stock O2 sensor and run only your aftermarket wideband for closed loop.

So i would just use input 1 for the signal wire, keep the power as im using for the gauge currently and just use the same ground location? So is just one wire being added to the ecu? or do i add a ground to the pigtail as well?
