Needing some help here.....
Just finished swapping a EK with a JDM k20a, did a custom engine harness to ecu(kpro).
I’m pretty sure I’ve mis wired something somewhere, have 2 codes being thrown and cannot figure out what is causing it.
P0113 IAT high sensor voltage
P1108 barometric pressure high voltage
I have checked the wires to IAT & Map sensors and they are good (+5v & grnd)
except I’m seeing ~4.5v from the ecu to the map sensor signal -A19 pin which should not have voltage with the map sensor unplugged( but does)
Have checked engine/ecu grounds and all seems correct
I’m not sure on the ecu schematic for the different power/ground circuits, could I have something miss landed causing this back feeding?
K20 swap wiring problems
Re: K20 swap wiring problems
The baro sensor is inside the ECU, so if you are getting an error for that, the ECU may be bad.
Re: K20 swap wiring problems
I’m really hoping it’s not, brand new and just trying to start it up for the first time.
Also, checked the wire continuity for the map sensor- all good
Depended the A19 pin and still see ~4.7v out of the ecu.
No matter what I do (map plugged in/A19 depended) kpro always reads -29in for the engine pressure (not running)

Re: K20 swap wiring problems
You should try the ECU on a known working vehicle then.
Re: K20 swap wiring problems
Found the problems.....
Had some intermittent connection issues with the IAT,ECT, and MAP sensors, everything was wired correctly.
Found 3 or 4 wires that were badly corroded in the sensor wiring from the original engine harness that I used to build the tucked harness from......all kpro codes cleared.
Lesson learned, use new wiring!
