ECU grounding with insulated ECU casing

Hi,

i'm running a K-Pro in an Ariel Atom, with rigid engine mounts : so i need to insulate the ECU case from the chassis with silent blocks to prevent it from breaking due to vibrations.

I'll bolt a ground wire from the chassis to one of the ECU cover bolts, but i'm wondering if this ground wire has to be large (lot of current to return to chassis or not a lot (if my engine grounds are ok)) ?

Or maybe un-necessary to ground the ECU case to chassis if engine grounds are good ?

Thanks.

There is no need to ground the ECU case. I don't think the case is connected to anything internally, but it may cause a ground loop.
