Potential map sensor issue

Post by Project_skyline »

Have a customer that brought us his lotus elise that's got a k20 swap using kpro, its turbocharged and so it's got a hondata 4 bar map sensor.

The main issue is the car goes full rich past a few psi. Nothing obvious pops up. It's been smoke tested, fuel pressure is good and raising with boost. The map sensor reads 29" with key on and engine off. Unplugging the sensor causes 0 change of the map reading. Voltage appears to be correct at the plug with the engine off.

I'm not very savvy with hondata in general, there are very little in my area but I would think the map should read closer to atmospheric with engine off, key on. I did switch it to kpa and it reads 0. Is this all normal or is something going on?

I have no way to check the ecu or map sensor vs another car at the moment.

Post the calibration as well as a datalog showing the issue.
