Kpro in Tube frame with JDM motor

Post by Underdog51 »

I am not sure if this is the correct section, I am new to this Hondata world.
I have a confusing setup and need some advice on what type of calibration/wiring I should be running.
Car is a tube frame race car (Stalker Cars AXR)
Engine is k20A2 from JDM Euro R
RWD BMW transmission
ECU is a 05 Acura RSX base Auto
I have converted what I think is all the pins over correctly to a 02-04 wiring. Is this correct even though the ECU is 05?
I will be running a GPS speed sensor for an input.
Fuel pump is running from a toggle switch.
I am not able to get this engine to fire up yet.
Thank you for any help and your patience

You cannot use a 05 base auto ECU with a K-Pro. What is your ECU part number?

The website says you can under the "alternate ECU" section. And they did mod it already. It's 37820-pnd-a58 and 2063-806057. Thanks

Latest log and calibration. There were some pins were still off, that are corrected. shouldn't it be reading a CAM angle under cranking? Maybe its a different cam sensor?

The ECU you have is an 02-04. What harness are you using?

I took the JDM harness, removed all the pins out of the ECU connectors. I then repined all the sensors to the correct ECU positions as per information on http://www.phearable.net/information/te ... grams.html
I just replaced the crank and exhaust cam sensor that appeared to be different for normal USA k20. still no go. Here is the latest datalog.

I would recommend using an 02-04 RSX engine harness and sensor from an 02-04 RSX.

I just went through and ohm'd every single wire from ecu plug to sensor plug, it is all correct. I would like to try a few things before buying a harness. How can I check the raw data coming in from each sensor? I am trying to figure out this software. I have built over 200 cars from scratch using LS and hp tuner. I am just new to the honda world. thank you very much for your time a patience so far.

You cannot get raw data from the cam and crank sensors from our software. try the ECU on a known working vehicle first. If it works as it should then you have something wired incorrectly or have a mechanical issue.
