Ecu or Kpro damaged

Post by Ras1 »

i haave a kpro v3 in a prb ecu when i turn the ignition on the fan automatically comes on and it will not read the o2 sensor. Borrowed a friends kpro v1 and everything works as it should. o2 reads and fan comes on only when it reaches the set temp. So is the Ecu damaged or is it the kpro?

Have you uploaded the same calibration to both ECU's?

Are you swapping the K-Pro into your ECU when testing this?

You need to try swapping the K-Pros to see where the issue is.

Swapped it ... same thing happens with my ecu , fan still comes on so I’m guessing there is a problem with the ecu and not the kpro.
Can it be fixed ?

If the ECU is damaged it will have to be replaced. You may have a dealer that can do K-Pro installs near you than can take care of this for you: https://www.hondata.com/us-dealers
