fuel pump problems with the new TSX Dual Kpro

Post by Malkolm666 »

Hi,
I just installed the dual kpro harness and ecu´s in my tsx, I can start the car but then slowly after 15-20s the idle gets lower and lower and then it dies. And if I turn the key again it starts and after 15-20s it slowly dies. Its my fuelpressure that dies. The fuelpump is running with ignition on, but doesnt seems to be running when the engine is running.

Is it the immobiliser thats the problem? I havent been to my dealer yet..
Or is it something else?

Was the TSX ecu from your car?

No. It was a NEW tsx 04 man ecu.

When you sent it in were the keys and immobilizer matched to the ECU? Also what is the serial number of the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

Hi, neither the keys or the immo was sent to you. The serial number is 7064 on the kpro box.

The ECU must be matched to your key and immobilizer by an Acura dealer.

Please contact your Hondata dealer you purchased this from as he was aware of the issues this ecu would have since it was not matched to a key and immobilizer.

Your key and immo. need to be sync up with the ecu you sent in.

I don't think that the kpro has anything to do with your fuel pump not working when your car is started. What fuel pump are you using?
