can you just take a look at datalog 1? im pretty sure the sensor was working on idle and idle with ac on. and at low rpm. the car is vibrating so bad that paint off the bumper came off, not to mention how annoying it is.

man if your car is shaking that bad , it has other issues besides the tune on the ecu buddy.

sensor suddenly started working. datalogged using both maps. i dont know which is making more power up top, but im sure that the 4500 one has more mid-range torque. it isnt knocking as badly as the 3800 one. the 3800's a/f ratio at idle jumps between 15 and 16, while the 4500's is around 13. tell me what you think.

i dont understand man , why are you making this complicated. the tune we were working on is k20aITR-BTF.

load that map on and give me at least a 20 minute datalog with a WOT pull in it somewhere 2k rpm to redline ok. ONE datalog. im not jumping around and wasting time tuning 2 different calibrations which in essence are the same.

here are the datalogs... the tune's in the rar as well. would you recommend i get an rbc intake manifold?

you still alive cranny :D ?
Update: I ordered an RBC intake manifold, impatiently waiting on it. I'm currently running the rsx cold air map, and i must say it has much more torque than my tune, this proves that even with the same exact setup, a different engine will react differently to different maps. Maybe we should use it as a base tune? or should we use the ones with similar setups(people that have an rbc) and tune it from there? Happy Holidays man, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, may god bless you and your family.

do up a datalog with the cold air kal than buddy , engine probably likes less cam angle thats why it feels stronger. alot of knock that datalog you made there , do you always run the same fuel? seems like conservative timing for a type r engine but if the cam angles are too high can help that problem.

hey man happy new year. i've been fiddling and browsing my old maps, i tried one called btftune2wtiming, you added timing on this one on the old engine. it felt good and zero knock, then again this motor has half a point less in compression. I will hopefully be receiving the RBC on the 6th, and the wideband anywhere between the 6th and 9th. thanks for replying, will datalog ASAP.

Hey man. Fitted the RBC and changed the rear section of my exhaust from stock, no more bottleneck 8) . the map i used was running way too lean, the switch to RBC+a more free flowing exhaust made such a difference. at crossover it was over 15, maybe touched 16 A:F... So to stay on the safe side, i used another map that ran rich, which is better i guess. I datalogged a 4th gear WOT, here's the datalog. here's the map that felt good before these maps as well (btf2wtiming), in case it'll be easier for you to just copy a few stuff.
My mod list: k20a2, type r cams, AEM cai, DC race header, RBC, 60mm exhaust, intake manifold with hondata gasket.

don't waste your time on that, i found a kal which has a dcrh, z1 cams and rbc, its much closer, running only a bit lean, you wont have to change a lot with cam angles i think. i'll datalog as soon as the weather clears up.

this might be BS, a guy that has this setup said when he was on the dyno that : "rich 11.7 setting was necessary at 4600 rpms, and a slightly rich 12.9 setting at higher rpms". what do you think?

Anyways, here you go :D
