I'm trying to match injectors for this kit.

Does this mean you recommend 650cc? Should I go with 750's or is that just overkill.

This is of course for the 06+ YouTune spec 10psi kit w/KPRO dual. I also have an upgraded exhaust system.

It means it was tuned with RC 650cc injectors

Using different injectors means you must completely retune the fuel maps

Could you provide the injector duty cycle % using this setup?

High - and bigger injectors will not necessarily help.

Here is what I have seen tuning the returnless DBW S2K with Kraftwerks and a stock fuel pump.

- You have around 50-54 PSI pressure in the tank, where the FPR is located.
- At the high 300 to low 400HP values you are losing about 10 psi along the fuel line from the rail to the tank.
- This means 40-44 PSI rail pressure
- At 10 PSI boost pressure this means pressure across the injector is 30-34 psi

A high flow fuel pump will do nothing in this case. Neither will larger injectors. You want a reliable 400+ you need a return line fuel system.

The Kraftwerks kits with the K-Pro dual adapter are making around 400 HP and are leaning out a little in the last 500-700 RPM. I suspected the stock fuel pump was also on its limits so on a test car here I installed a Kenny Bell Boost-A-Pump and upped the stock fuel pump voltage to 18V under boost. This gave me back about 1/2 a point AF at redline. The boost-a pump enabled me to run an in tank walbro 255 for my landspeed RSX making 650-750 HP all year.

Just got the car started.

Ran smooth as stock at first but then settled into a bouncing idle. I know vacuum leaks cause this but I triple checked all possible issues.

Any suggestions? The only change I made to the map was to increase the injector size from 650 to 725 (does anything else have to be changed for that?)

Can I get to the tuner like this?

You may be running too rich or too lean. Just chaning the injector size is not enough. Different sized injectors have different flow characteristics and additional changes will almost always need to be made to the fuel tables to get them to run correctly and safely.

I'm afraid to crawl to the shop (~10mi) with this bouncing idle.

Am I missing something easy here?

You appear to have a fairly large air leak somewhere that is not allowing the Map sensor to see the proper vacuum.

How do you see that? It says around -16 in the KDL.
I triple checked everything. There are like 3 vacuum hoses so that can't be it.

I pulled a OBDII code U0170 "Lost Communication With Throttle Actuator Control Module". Erasing it made it come back on immediately.

This code does not come up in the error box and reset errors in KManager does no clear it. Why does that happen?

Is that ECU related somehow? I haven't touched any throttle anything.

Question I am going to install the boost a pump soon and was wondering if you guys hooked up the boost/vacuum line or just jumped the 2 wires so that the BAP is always on?

any insight on how to get the wires to the engine bay if you did hook it up please?

Please check to make sure you have connected the harness correctly: http://www.hondata.com/downloads/KPro%2 ... 0S2000.pdf

This is exactly my problem. I did not know you are supposed to plug in the small DBW plug into the stock ECU instead of the harness (as it seems natural). You should definitely include this printout with the ECU.

Thank you!
