RC or ID injectors

Post by jetspeedz » Tue May 04, 2010 9:58 pm

I already have a new set of RC 1000cc injectors and resistor box for my turbo setup and S300 but I'm reading the ID1000 idle better and are better injectors. However the tuner Church tuning told me the RC's are much better and start up better then the ID and stick with RC.

What is your opinion on what works best with S300 software?

thanks

I have had nothing but good luck with the id1000's injectors. just did a car today that barely made over 380hp and it didn't act or drive like it had way to much injector. It even idled a rock steady 14.4afr@950 rpms

The tuners both have high remarks for RC and recommend it and actually one prefers RC over ID. However the sentiment on the net appears to be the opposite. I do feel comfortable though going with RC now that these tuners have both recommended RC.

It is common knowledge that ecu's with saturated injector drivers should be paired with saturated injectors, and not peak and hold injectors. With that being said, RC does not offer a saturated 1000cc injector that I know of, and it has been my experience that not only are the Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors of much higher quality, they are tested and paired better, and they work better in every application I have tested them in. Not only that, but if you have a technical question about them, or their latency values, you can get an educated response, rather than hearing crickets chirp on the other end of the phone. :)

My advice is to run the ID's. I sell both, and profit margin is higher on the RC's, and I still prefer to sell the ID's, because I believe the product is of a higher quality.

Thanks for your feedback, I agree Saturated works best with Saturated ECU's however RC does not have a 1000cc saturated injector for our application. At this point im torn if i should get rid of these injectors and buy the ID or stick with the RC and take the chance.
