Ignition controlled idle

Post by Tsuchinoko »

Hello,

Version 1.4.8 i understand the function but what i doesn't understand is the rpm values.

The values means that above (example) ~150rpm the ecu retards the ignition in order to maintain a idle close to is target right?

About the last cell it cames with 65535 rpm why do you put this value?

Thanks

Sorry about my english

0xFFFF = 65,535 in decimal

ECU is written in hexadecimal
0xFFFF in hexadecimal = 65,535 in decimal

what it means is if the idle rpm is higher than 65,535, the ignition is advanced or RETARDED per your setting............

of course your engine rom cant be 65,535 rpm; this is just an arbitary min/max

this is just ONE of the parameter to stablish idle and idle recovery

the other paramter for idle recovery is the rpm that the injectors are switched on after overrun. with the current version is is fixed at 1050 rpm
