I was curious if there was a list of ECU's out there that do not support your Spool check.
I did a search before posting and found this thread:
viewtopic.php?t=6704

I read it to figure out why I kept getting Code 21 Coming up when i changed out my ECU to a working ECU and got not spool error. The Spool Error showed up when I turned the key to the "On" position.

As of right now I Have a P28 Chipped with the Hondata, I have tried a Virgin P72, No code. Car runs fine.
I checked the VPS and the VTS with my Voltmeter and i was getting .1 and .2 Ohms so no resistance.
I ran the Car with the "Disable Vtec Spool Check" and my car would not vtec. If you Disable the Vtec Spool Check function does it make the car run in limp mode? disabling the vtec?

Any Help will be appreciated.

So are you saying that if you get the code 21 that you VTEC still activates?

On the P72 with out Hondata Yes, On the p28 w/ Hondata No.

Pretty much im asking if there is an ECU or a known issue with the vtec spool check.

Im sure my P28 is bad so im going to swap it in to my p72. Was just wondering if there was a list or any information about it before i condemn this ecu totally.

As for the Disable Vtec Spool Check, I was wondering if you Disable the spool check Will the ECU will still run in limp mode? Or will it run as if there are no issues with the circuit.

Would it be possible to only purchase the installation parts? I really do not want to uninstall the 28 pin and the 20 pin or the 4 pin. Let me know if you can sell just the required parts for installation.

You can buy a socketing kit through any Hondata dealer. All ECUs operate VTEC the same way. You appear to have a damaged ECU. ALternatively you could try the P28 with Hondata in a known good vehicle and see if the problem persists.
