Hondata

So I set it where I wanted it. If I push in the clutch and rev it the shift light works properly lighting up the MIL light. However if I'm driving and just floor it the shift light never lights up. Then push the clutch free rev it and it lights up... makes no sense :( Any suggestions.. I'm totally new to hondata. Rev limiter is set higher so it's not the fuel/ignition cut causing the tach to stop working. My shift light is set at 7621rpm. Wondering if it's a problem in my cluster... however it worked fine last night??
