where are most people taking there 12v feed for their boost controler from?

Switched 12v from the fuse box is best.

Engine bay or incar? is there any polarity of the solenoid directional, or will it work either way and do you splice the diode on literally on too each wire coming out the solenoid. Thanks

THe under dash fuse box. There is no polarity on a solenoid. Do not use any diode with the solenoid.

Ok thanks, but how come there was a diode supplied with the solenoid?

It must be an older solenoid. We now no longer recommend using the diode.

It interferes with the resolution you get from the solenoid.
