test outputs

Post by sicones »

I cannot get the test outputs function to work, am I missing something here or is it broken? I'm using v2.2.3.

What do you mean exactly when you say it does not work? Do you have your calibration loaded?

Of course, just uploaded the new calibration after the update. Cycled the key to clear the CEL that usually happens after an update. I tried it with datalogging on and datalogging off. It doesn't work.

What function are you trying to test?

I tried all of them, but I really want to test A10 for my nitrous solenoid.

Download the newest Beta version which was just uploaded. I have tested this and it is working. VTEC output can only be checked while the engine is running as you need a certain RPM for it to activate.

I just tried it with v2.2.4, still doesn't work. I also did an Erase ECU command and re-uploaded, didn't help. I'm not to concerned with this feature but it would be nice, ecm link has had this for a while.

It does work when we test it here. What output are you trying to test, exactly how are you testing it, and how have you determined that it does not work?

I plug in the laptop, put key in II, upload calibration, start datalogging, when I go to the test outputs window checking any of the boxes does nothing.

How do I know it doesn't work? Cooling fan doesn't come, fuel pump doesn't run (walbro is loud as hell), nitrous solenoid and relay no clicky, no click from AC clutch.

Try it without datalogging.

Still doesn't work, I've tried every possible scenario except another laptop which should not matter. Even XP mode on my Win7 computer. Opened a brand new calibration and uploaded didn't work either. Also, that bug is still there under secondary tables parameter, the Nitrous Active check boxes don't stay checked after a save and reload.
