A Few Beginner Questions

Post by Scorpionace »

hi pro´s out there,

i had a few questions about my tune. actually iam at the low fuel map to tune because iam afraid about the ignition timing. vtec is actually disabeld.

1998 Del Sol B16A2 GT30 1bar 750RC´s P28 S300

- can i run the stock ignition tables also in the high fuel map?
- is it normal that the AFR goes under acceleration to 10?
- should the AFR slightly and stable degreas from 14,7 to 12,5 over the rev?

thanks a lot

now my fuelmap is allready tuned, this S300 is the insanest thing i can imagine for ECU tune :)

the next step is to tune the ignitionmap, in this time i use the P28 and i will buy a P72 because this had a knockboard inside and i hope this will safe my engine for knocks, the question is: can the OEM knockboard and knocksensor read the highspeed knock? or is that nessasery to tune on a dyno? i live in germany so the fuel is not the problem :) allready i use Super Plus which has 98octane. exist a useable guide to tune the ignitionmap on the street?

thanks
