Hi,
I had a customer who had problems starting his car. After we checked several things and all checked OK , we turned our attention to the ECU, I downloaded the map and when it opened, it was like this ....
Every parameter, every setting , are all over the place!!
After that, I opened the original map that was saved on a CD and I upload it to the ECU, the car started right up but after about 10 sec the engine died and the CEL came on. I downloaded the map and the same thing has happened. The settings were all crazy and all over the place.
Well to check things again, I put the stock injectors, map sensor and ECU, and the car started right up and I let it idle for several minutes without any problem. Then I switched the ecu and put the Hondata back on with the stock Injectors and map sensor, I uploaded a stock B16 map and same thing happened, the car started and after about 10 sec the check engine light came on and the engine died. I downloaded the stock B16 map that I just put in and when I opened it was all over the place...
The car had been running for over a year and a half without any problems.
Any idea what's going on?!
S300 went crazy
Re: S300 went crazy
What is the serial number that is on the s300 board inside the ECU?
Re: S300 went crazy
Hi,
Thanks guys for taking the time to reply.
Serial number is # 13335
The smanager software I used is version 2.2.7.0. It was mapped about a year and a half ago, so the issue with using it with an older version of smanager can be ruled out.
