AEM wideband input
AEM wideband input
Which input pin works the best when datalogging the AEM wideband gauge? I've been using D14 ( stock 02 input) on many cars I tune but have heard the ELD pin may work better. Anyone have any thoughts or reasons one may work better than the other?
Re: AEM wideband input
You shouldn't use D14 because it does not have the full voltage range. Use one of the other inputs and you will get the full voltage range.
Re: AEM wideband input
I use D14 without any issue. You just don't get anything over 4v... which is 18 afr or leaner on most of the wideband kits. No impact on closed loop, and if it's anywhere that lean at WOT you've got bigger problems. Using the typical AEM gauge kit I have 10afr to 18afr. Pretty acceptable.Spunkster wrote:You shouldn't use D14 because it does not have the full voltage range. Use one of the other inputs and you will get the full voltage range.
