s300 error code

Post by murgy »

Hi there
im from the uk
my boosted ek4 keeps showing up an error code for 02 heater,
but it is turned off in hondata?
the cel keeps coming on quite frequently now, when this happens I can clear the code with the app or just by turning it off and back on
my issue is that when it happens it goes into limp mode, not good when im at full throttle.

The car is tuned in open loop with closed loop turned off.
Thanks

O2 sensor and heater errors do not cause the ECU to go into limp mode.

Please post your calibration and a datalog.

I'm at work at the mo, I cant force it to come on will get a datalog at some point
When I say limp mode by that i mean
As soon as it sees boost it cuts power
But then turn ignition off and back on or turn off via the app and its fine
Just comes up with error code 02 heater circuit

What do you mean by you turn the ignition off and on via app? Do you turn the key in the ignition on off? Like spunkster said, a datalog and the calibration will help us help you.

In Parameters, in the Closed Loop tab in Smanager, make sure it is set to "open Loop" and also make sure the box is checked for "disable o2 heater".

The car is not going into limp mode, it is going into boost cut. There is a setting that makes the ecu cut ignition completely if it sees boost when there is an active trouble code.

Sorry for the late reply and confusion from my part, so when the check engine light comes on, I can either turn the cel off clearing the code in the hondata app on my phone or I just flick the key off and then back on and it clears the code.

It is set to open loop and the o2 heater box is also checked which is why I'm confused a bit
