Best 12v Source for GM Flex Fuel Sensor?

Post by mn_Nice507 »

1998 CRV.

What is the optimal place to tap/splice into for the 12v source for a Flex Fuel sensor installation. Trying to avoid using a fuse tap, and would prefer to splice into the harness somewhere. I understand it needs to be hot 12v with key on and cranking. Looking at the Yellow/Black wires (B1,B9 IGP1/IGP2) on the ECU harness.

The best source is the under dash fuse box. There will be some empty spots that you can connect a spade connector to that are switched with ignition on.
