Problem running open loop + PLX M300

Post by CivicVTi »

I run open loop and have disabled O2 heater. I get an occasional CEL (primary o2 sensor). Why?

p.s I have not installed a resistor across the o2 heater but I guess disabling O2 heater is equivalent

You still need to install the resistor.

OK. Thanks. So disabling o2 heater and installing a resistor would do, right?

i have the same problem. So the code 1 throws sometimes means that the o2 is disabled?

This doesn't help. It is a bug in the software. This doesn't happen on the older version of the Rom Editor.

I guess Hondata should solve it in the forthcoming edition of ROM Editor.

I think they said they are fixing this in the next release. When is it...sometime around the beginning of 2005?
