Hondata s100

Post by krystianitr »

I've question. I have chip and s100 in my ECU hondata. My friend has stock ECU (obd1) for B16A2 engine and he get's everything (rev limiter, change vtec point, better fuel map) when he put's only chip without S100. So my question is: What for is S100, what it is doing in my ECU. If that S100 is important for my ecu, can I tune it ??. Secund question I can use Apexi Vafc II
I must change AFR and I need Vtec start at 6200 now I have 5500
Help me

Your friend is probably running some program other than Hondata. With Hondata, the S100 / S200 must stay connected for things to work properly.

You are not able to tune the S100. You'll need to take your car to a dealer that can tune the ECU with an S200, then reinstall your S100. With Hondata, there is no need for the VAFC. Get your tuner to change your VTEC engagement points when / if you get it tuned.

You should purchased the Romeditor software and a pocket programmer so you can make changes yourself.

You should never use a VAFC with a Hondata system.

You cannot tune the s100 yourself. You will have to get the s200.
