3 step help!

Post by fu@k_awd »

So i have been running a tuned base s200 on my car for a while now and i just got around to installing the 3 step. first i have read both install guides front to back a few times, the push button and clutch switch are installed and hooked up to the hondata box. When i try and set the launch control or any other rpm it never sets. the CEL flashes like it is suppose too and stops when i press the brake but nothing ever sets.

You cannot check it if you do not have datalogging. I would suggest taking it to a Hondata dealer so they can use their dealer kit to datalog and make sure that the ecu is seeing all the inputs.

I suggest contacting your dealer because no 3-step option has been purchased for this s200.

Ok i finally got my code from the dealer. the launch control is working and setting fine.but the FTS is acting like an overall rev limiter. first run on default settings the car hits a rev limiter at 6k.werid. so i change the FTS to 8k, same thing. so iv left it set at 10k.

The clutch switch must be engaged to disable the full throttle shift. You cannot rest your foot on the clutch.
