jdm 96 spec itr

Post by seijik »

hi guys, im new on here so forgive me if this has been done to death!

basically im looking at getting a hondata system for my 96 jdm itr, ive seen a few with the s200 system but the hondata website said that they have been discontinued as of jan this year,

i was wondering what the difference is between the s200 and s300 system and which one i need and what stuff i need to get it set up on my car!

any help would be great!

To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html. You can then use the Hondata s100 or s300 depending on what options you want (http://www.hondata.com/sproducts.html). I would recommend the s300.

ok, so what ecu's are standard in the jdm itr's?

the s300 says it fits in the oem ecu box, are these systems something you can do yourself or do you need to take it to a dealer?

also ive tried searching for places around here that do the dyno tuning but cant find any? does anyone know of any in or near suffolk?

thanks

Hondata can only be usedon an OBD1 ecu. An ITR is OBD2 so you must ocnvert to an OBD1 ecu. We also have OBD1 ecus with builtin OBD2 adapters.
