For a problem like this you'll need to take to to the nearest Hondata dealer to have them take a look at everything as it could be anything at this point.

email support at hondata.com with the serial number on the interface box to find out what options it has.

theres no hondata dealer around here but i called and they said it costs 65 bux to send it to them and have them take a look at it. but i wanna know would it damage my car if i drive it like that (led flashing slowly)?
ps: can i try to change the interface cable first?

Yes you can try changing it. It is always possible that when something is not working properly that you can damage the engine. The dealer needs to use the process of elimination to determine where the problem is.

You can get an interface cable through any Hondata dealer listed on our website.

I cannot tell you if it is safe since we don't know what the problem is.

The red LED on the Hondata interface is blinking, the engine check light is off, the car runs
normally, or rich for cars with bigger injectors
Likely causes:
• The stock ROM is installed (see Appendix 3)
• J1 has not been installed (OBD I only)
Fix
• Replace with a Hondata ROM
• Install it as per installation manual
Ive searched around and came up with this, its similar to my problem. but can anyone tell me more about how to fix this? like replace with a hondata ROM? and how do i know if i have a stock ROM or J1 has not been installed?

You will have to look inside the ecu to see if J1 is there. For the other things you must take it to a Hondata dealer to have them take a look.

It does not appear that J1 is jumpered. Please take it to a Hondata dealer for assistance with this.
