Vitara D16z6 Calibration

Post by junmist »

D16z6 with FJ super kit
75mm
ID1000cc
Greddy TD04H Turbo Kit

Tune by ASAP @ 11psi 200whp.

Car drives pretty good but somehow we can't set the injectors to 1000cc so we set them to 775cc. I tried setting injectors to 1000cc with the deadtimes given from ID's site but when trying to increase/decrease fuel the injector won't respond. Fuel pressure at fuel filter is 43psi and jumps to 70psi when engine starts.

Only problem with the tune is that it boggs between shifts at full throttle. He and I are out of ideas, he suggest changing out the TPS. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Smooth out that big timing jump in columns 1-5, from 1500 to 1700rpm.

I agree the tune was running pig rich too. The reason why I went to this tuner is that he had some experience with ID1000 injectors which I have a hard time getting it to run on my car. Thanks for the comment.
