Car won't Idle, Built lsvtec turbo, basemap attached

Post by BoostAddict1488 »

Car won't idle after setting up a basemap. Can anyone review this for me? If I hold throttle when starting it will idle. However, very rough and extremely rich, wideband showing 8.06. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried removing fuel to see if you can get it leaner?

I messed with it some after work last night. Tried pulling -5, then -10 and saw nothing change. Made it all the way to -35% and nothing changed, so quit pulling fuel on it.

As this sounds like a tuning issue, I would suggest talking to your tuner about this issue and see if they can give you a better basemap to start from.

Found that Hondata was not able to display battery voltage. When I changed the deadtimes to 14v, the car runs... I did notice one of the caps inside the ecu has a brown ring, where it appears bad. Does anyone know if bad caps will cause this issue, with not allowing voltage to be seen?

I would recommend that you replace the capacitors to see if that resolves the issue.
