Tune needed.....Stock GSR with bolt-ons???

Post by turbocivicex »

Stock 2000 GSR with....Skunk2 intake manifold, AEM short ram, Kamikaze race header, & 3" exhaust. Any suggestions? I?m using the stock GSR cal. But it seems to fall off before redline?..I expected it to pull all the way with the intake manifold.

are you looking for a basemap??? if you look below you are not gonna find anything, go to honda-tech.com look under the forced induction section, and at the top is a tuner directory with tuners from every state. You have a small list of mods so it shouldnt cost that much.

the gsr cams dont have enough lift. thats why your car falls off at high rpms. the intake can only deliver air quicker at high rpm, you need that air to get into the cylinder. higher lift camsought to do the trick!
