chevy uses a flexfuel sensor on most of there vehicles.Would that be ok to us?

You need both the sensor and the electronics which converts the PWM signal from the sensor to 0-5V.

SO THE AFTERMARKET SENSOR COMES READING IN VOLTAGE THE CHEVY DOES NOT

Yes. Aftermarket is actually the sensor + electronics to convert the signal.
