Skunk2 Intake Tune 09 Si

Post by Yungtempo »

I recently installed my Skunk2 Intake along with a Hondata basemap. No matter what intake calibration I use it ends up running lean. It's a 3.5 inch diameter cold air intake and if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like it will need additional tuning on the dyno. You should discuss this issue with your tuner.

In case anyone has the same problem, I didn't have race tunes checked and was only choosing MAF based tunes. The intake is too big for the MAF to compensate so you have to run it on a MAP based tune. After I did that the A/F ratios were much better.
