Security "Tune" Problem.

Post by firestrife »

So I went on vacation for a week. So last week I uploaded a security tune from flashpro.
It seemed to go swimmingly and the dashboard clicked several times i wasnt sure if it was normal for the Security tune. Anyhow I let it be and went on vacation and came back and now the ECU won't be recognized by flashpro.

I tried everything, from on-offing the ignition to disconnecting and reconnecting the battery but the OBDII port is recognized while the ECU is not.

The FlashPro tab says its in Recovery Mode but the status bar refuses to recognize this problem and just displays an "X" I tried following the help guide but it did nothing.

help is much appreciated.

Which calibration did you load?
What software version were you using when you uploaded, and what software version are you using now?

I loaded the Security Calibration from the AFM/MAP tune config.

I am using version 1.1.4.4. when I uploaded.
Now I just updated before I came back to 1.1.4.5.

Ugh, I check the box and I check my connection I did it like 3-4 times already. I think the problem is I don't have an internet connection where my car is.
I try to set it up and get the "send information to hondata" option and wait to get inside to send it still no go. :(

You do not have to do this at the car. Only the FlashPro needs to be plugged in.
