Speed Density Calibrations

Post by spameggsandrice »

I was told to use Speed Density Calibrations with my intake that I have on my car. Are the calibrations that come standard in the software Speed Density Calibrations? I'm a newbie to this so don't kill me.

The regular calibrations are AFM based, but you can change the settings so that they can be tuned via speed density. You can find this in the fuel section of the calibration window.

So if I click the box with the red dot, how do I determine the value to put in the Minimum pressure for speed/density? I have the KN SRI V2 Intake

You may want to read more about this in the help file: https://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/f ... meters.htm

YOu do not need to change that setting unless you are trying to get it to run off of the AFM and the MAP sensor at the same time.

So I read through the help file and what I did is uncheck AFM Enabled and only Checked "use speed/density (MAP) fuel tables". I went for a test drive right after. This morning I started it up and went for a drive and the car went into a limp mode not letting me go past 3000rpm. The CEL went on and the VSA light came on as well. It looks like a code P0101. I went back home and Uploaded the same calibration for KN intake and ran the AFM enabled map.

Do you still have the AFM plugged in?

We need you to upload the calibration you are using to make the datalog, not just a screenshot.

How are you uploading this calibration to the ECU?

Are you just clicking on the upload button in the image you posted before?

When I initially did it I uploaded the calibration to the FlashPro from my PC and then from the FlashPro to the vehicle.

I did this last night and went on a test drive. Everything was fine then. When I got in the car this morning to go to work is when it went into limp mode. I have the datalog from last night's test drive.

FlashPro already connected to PC

1. Select calibration
2. Click FlashPro Tab
3. When FlashPro window opens click Calibrations tab
4. Click Upload and calibration is uploaded in the primary calibration storage of the FlashPro Unit
5. Connect FlashPro to vehicle
6. Turn key 2 clicks
7. Hold Program button down and release to flash ecu
8. Wait until finished and then turn off vehicle and then ignition 2 clicks again.
9. Have fun.
