Fueling leaning after upgrade injector from 270cc to 310cc

Hi Hondata,

Im current having issue on my k series after upgrading injector from 270cc to 310cc. The problem occured after i change the current injector size from 270cc to 310cc in flashpro.

The fueling became leaning out just after i change the FP current injector size setting from 270cc to 310cc. However when i change the FP current fuel injector size setting to 270cc, the engine fueling back to rich.

My current build was k20a3 stock bottom with K20a head + TSX cam and rocker assembly with 25deg VTC.

Attach herewith some screenies for your all reference as i'm unable to upload my datalog currently.

Would like to have your guidance and advice what should do in FP setting for the upgrade.

Has this been properly tuned on the dyno?

I think you have the settings backwards. There is no situation where you want the current injector size to be smaller than the stock injector size. If you have a 06 Si FlashPro and are using 310cc injectors then you don't need to do anything.

It was initially tuned on Dyno when using the stock 270cc injector.

I just upgrsding the inkector itself, and just the setting of cirrwnt inkector size in FP from previous tuned setting size 270cc to 310cc according to my new equipped ones. I Didn't touch any within my fuel tables beside of that.

It just turn to be leaning out after that, my last tuned closed loop target AFR was 14.3:1


And sorry, what you meant that "if you got a 06 Si"?

you mean the FP unit or my engine?

After upgraded to new 310cc injector with setting in FP current injector size changed to 310cc..

Am using the latest FP unit that came with bluetooth feature with lateat version of 3.1.8 firmware/software.

Engine was a k20z2(aka k20a3) with rebuilded k20a TSX head with stock 270cc injector.

The car run well after installes and tuned with Flashpro.

The reason I upgrading to 310cc injector is because the duty of 270cc injector was going high untill 90%. And with stock 270cc injector, the VTEC engagement transitions was sluggish.

You should discuss this with your tuner as it may need some retuning for this to work correctly.

I tune the ride myself when first bought the flashprI.

just would like to ask, my last tune rable was do in great, but with this time change of injector from 270cc to 310cc. I just change the setting of crrent injector size to 310cc, but the car cranking was very rought.

Why was this happened, need your advise and much appreciated.

Good day.

Refe back to quoted at below on my last post,

"If you have a 06 Si FlashPro and are using 310cc injectors then you don't need to do anything."

What you advise as above is meaning that if I'm using a flashpro unit that is for 06 Civic Si, I can just remain my current injector size setting as 270cc and tune my fuel table without changing my current injector size to 310cc although I have physically change my injector to the nrw 310cc ones?

Go to the new calibration button and you will see that all the calibrations have 310cc injectors.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm using Asia 155hp calibration as my current base map. However, the calibration base map came with 270cc injector size.

With this basemap, should I changed my current injector size in the setting to 310cc for my newly change 310cc?
