hello again,

i found a way to remove the CEL, however it is still not a complete solution.

it is clear that P1412 CEL comes on a few seconds after the ignition. secondary air injection is activated to enable the catalytic convertor quickly, helping it to heat up.

ECU decides catalytic convertor status according to ECT. if ECT is above 80 degrees celsius, there is no need for air injection.

in short, run your car at idle so that ECT is over 80 degrees. then reset P1412. when engine is restarted, there will be no P1412. in order to apply the solution; you should have your notebook & FPM everywhere so that you can heat up then reset the P1412 wherever you go.

HOWEVER; i kindly request Hondata to resolve this bug or help us roll back to 1.1.7.4. i do not want to mess up with such temporary solutions like the above.

as far as i have a CEL, i am not sure if engine is running my fuel & ignition tables. it may be retarding ignition and doing some other things in order to prevent possible damage until the CEL is reset.

That will work fine, but you then have to it every time that the car is starting from cold.
Hondata have to sort this out at their end!
Some feedback from them on this would also be helpfull.

yes, i have to carry my notebook at the trunk. furthermore, i noticed that the warming process is more complex than just ECT getting over 80 degrees. i guess car should be driven a few kilometers.

in short, this is a quite challenging and time consuming solution.

why Hondata does not advise a better solution/rollback solution/etc. and we are left alone trying to solve bugs on our own?

common guys - they already said that will take care about this:

i agree - info on estimated timelines whould help and bring more confidence - but let's not get histerical here.
good thing we identified the problem and now it's a matter of patience.

constructive suggestion for Hondata - if you don't have access to Euro S2k you may want to use one of us for beta testing of this before public release.

There appears to be two different topics in this thread:
- The original request to disable the secondary air pump for the Euro S2000. This is a new feature which we will develop and add to FlashPro in the future.
- An error P1412 relating to the secondary air pump. In this case, following the posting guidelines and give us the information we need to start looking at this issue.

An update:
- For the next release we have added an option to disable the air pump.
- The boost control output shares the same pin as the secondary air system control solenoid. We're working on a fix so that if the boost control is not used, the solenoid still functions as per normal.

CEL occurs because of the boost control functions in 1.1.8.5, am i right? second; this issue is valid only for Euro S, right?
