I am able to datalog using my FlashPro while simultaneously monitoring and / or datalogging on my laptop. This is really helpfull for capturing high resolution datalogs while also seeing what's going on. However, I tuned another S2000 last weekend, and that FlashPro wouldn't allow me to datalog on the FP and laptop simultaneously. He hadn't used his FlashPro in a long time, and I was using my laptop to do the tune. I believe that guarantees that his FlashPro has the same version of Firmware that mine has. Is this a bug, or is there some setup option that needs to be checked? I'm using FPM 1.1.9.6.

Download the most recent beta version of software from the downloads section of the website.

I will consider that, but that doesn't answer my question about why some FlashPro's can do it, and others can't, even while using the same laptop, FPM, and firmware. Is it a hardware difference?

As a software developer, I don't like using beta software.

The FlashPro is not designed to datalog internally and from a laptop simultaneously.

Well, I wouldn't have thought that it would do it simulteniously, but mine does it. I've datalogged many times that way. I can upload some samples if you like.

I guess mine could be broken, since I know that I do have some corrupted flash memory chips (I need to send it in for repair). However, it is a valuable feature.
