Ok, so I've got my FlashPro and adapter harness and 07/08 ECU. I've installed the adapter harness and I'm ready to go to a dealership. I just wanted to ask something though. If I wanted to make sure my 07/08 ECU is good before going to a dealership, can I just swap ECUs and plug in my FlashPro to see if it reads it properly? I know I won't be able to start the car until the immobilizer is paired but should FlashPro still be able to communicate with the 07/08 ECU? I just don't want to go to a dealership only to find out my used ECU is a dud. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So I got my ECUs swapped at a dealership today but my check engine light is on. Can I use FlashPro to see what the problem is? Should I just disconnect the battery to clear the code and see if it comes back?

Is yours a euro accord?

If it is then yes you will have the check engine light.

You can turn them off via flashpro.

No, I have a Canadian TSX but I think my 07/08 ECU is from the US.

Also, I tried disconnecting the battery for over 30 minutes but the check engine light still comes back on. How do I see what's causing it?

Ok, so I figured out that you can read the CEL codes by selecting OBDII Diagnostics in the online menu. I saw the codes and realized that because I was using an 07/08 calibration, I had to switch off a few sensors as per the instructions that come with Hondata's adapter cable. No more check engine light!

Now the only problem is my idle. It's fine at 750rpm when the A/C is not on, but as soon as I switch it on, it drops down to around 500rpm and it's a little rough. I really hope that's not normal.

Hondata, any insight on this?

Thanks.
