Knock count PID or ID

Post by Pengo » Fri Apr 12, 2019 12:55 pm

Hi. Can someone tell me how to get a knock count from CANBUS of A71 ECU with flashpro? I make a small arduino logger and I would like to see the number of knocks on its screen. Thanks.

Knock count is not a J1979 PID for Honda. They use ISO 14229 and packets.

So I need to search for a knock count via k-line? Is kwp2000 used there?

No its CAN, but it does not use PIDs. If you want to go BT then you can get knock count from the FlashPro.

my flashpro does not have bluetooth :(
help, please, very interesting to do something by myself. what request send to ECU and what it should answer? Sorry if I do not understand that this may carry some kind of danger for some unsanctioned hacking of flashpro...

It is not a simple answer and we cannot support it.
