got a 2013 civic si from an auction, there was a flashpro in the car when the car was bought, tried to return the car and flashpro back to stock to unlock the flashpro, after using the flashpro to program the car, it no longer wants to start, it turns over when you try to start it but it wont actually start, used a scan tool to see what was wrong, and the vin is missing from the ecm, now i cant use the flashpro to try and program the car again because it doesnt have a vin, nor can i upload a new calibration onto the flashpro nor can i unlock it because the last used vin on it is listed as unknown, what should my next step be to try and get this car up and running again, car has an aftermarket intake and exhaust installed, airbag and system lights have come on since trying to reprogram.

It sounds like the ECU is in recovery mode. Download and install the latest FlashProManager version (which currently is 2.3.5). Unplug the FlashPro from both the vehicle and laptop, then plug back in and switch on the ignition. Upload a 2013 Si calibration (any will do), then use 'return to stock'.

thanks for the reply! so youre saying im going to need the flashpro connected to the laptop at the same time its connected to the ecu? oh and that will solve the no vin problem as well?
