Is there a way to make a "Valet" tune, or "Teenager" tune?

I'd like to know if it would be possible to make a tune that would cut the turbo boost about 25-50% below the stock tune, and also set a speed limit of 65 ?

Last time I took my car to a detail shop I noticed it had been driven a mile or 2, when there was no reason for them to do so. My guess is that one of them took it out on the street to see what it would do..... I don't like the idea of someone blasting down the street in my car, most likely doing so recklessly.

I'd also like to make the car top out at 65 for times like that, and other times that I might have to let my teenager drive the car, and I don't want them driving too fast.

I think I read somewhere else on this forum that just making a lower boost might damage the engine.... Is that true, or could something like this be possible?

It would be really nice to be able to have this feature, which would discourage valets and unscrupulous service providers from taking reckless joyrides, and keep my kids from getting into serious trouble as well as endangering themselves and my car....

go to the calibration TC MAX pressure ratio and reduce the whole chart by 25-50%

under rev limits you can set the max speed. so put 65mph there.

you would have to flash the car with the calibration each time you want to valet it or let your teenagar drive it

Thank you....

I think I found an easier way to do it.... I just went into the calibration and instead of trying to mess with all of the boost tables, (that would take too long) I just made a valet tune with a 4000 rpm rev limit and a 30 mph speed limit....

Then, I made a teenager tune that has a rev limit of 4000 and a speed limit of 65.....

I'll give them a try and see how they work... :)

its easy to adjust the boost pressure chart

you just highlight the whole table and right click > adjust

Wow! Thank you very much ! That was super easy !

That leads me to another question.... If we can reduce the boost, is it possible to increase it above the levels in the +6 tune on a 2016 Civic Touring CVT ?

Or are we only able to reduce them on this car?

If we "can" increase them, how much would be safe? I'm guessing we can't increase them, right?

The +6 boost is definitely great, but I know I'm probably not the only one who would like a little more.... :)

Any further info would be much appreicated. Thanks

The ecu has a TQ protection on the CVT. So the +6 psi map puts it at Honda limitation on the CVT. Which will limit the boost to make it reliable

I just uploaded a detuned file to my ECU, changing the Tune from the +3 Hondata Tune.

I changed the boost, by selecting the entire table, and decreasing it by 25%, and also set the rev limit to 4000, and the max speed to 65.

While it did feel sluggish compared to my +6 Tune that my local tuner made for me on the dyno, the car would still go well over 4000 rpms, and it went over 65mph, so either I did something wrong, or the Flashpro won't set artificially low speed and rpm limits..... ?

What do you think?

the speed limit rev limiter is not the same a a redline rev limiter. i'm not 100% sure how that works.
imo you should just reflash the car back to stock. the car is pretty slow without a tune

Yes, but it would be really nice to limit the speed, boost and revs..... Valets and vehicle service providers are well known to have employees who just love to take a car out on the road and run it through a few full throttle runs, often at high speeds.... You need look no further than Youtube, where you can do a search on "valet driver caught", and you'll see plenty of examples of what they'll do when they think nobody's watching....

i think you have to set the rpm limiter lower. i'm not sure since i never use that
