Running plus 6 psi, problems after running hard
I was going to work this morning and had it in sport mode and was pushing it a little bit. Then the check engine liget came on, the brake system light, the emissions light and the visa light. Did I fuck something up or should I just reflash and see what happens? This is a brand new car also. 890 miles.

Did you pull the code out?
It either misfired or overboost limp mode.
was the engine not warmed up all the way to 180f?

I haven't had a chance to wipe any codes yet, but I didn't warm up properly but its like 70 degrees out here
Re: Running plus 6 psi, problems after running hard
Check the error codes to see what they are first this will help you in diagnosing the issue.
Just because it is warm outside does not mean the engine is at operating temperature.

Yeah I was in a rush for sure. I'll check the codes when I get home after work.
Re: Running plus 6 psi, problems after running hard
Did you restart the engine and everything went back to normal? If so then i'm 99% sure you misfired since the engine wasn't warmed up all the waynoobroster wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 10:01 am Yeah I was in a rush for sure. I'll check the codes when I get home after work.

Nah all the lights are still on. Somethings not right. And if it was a misfire, does that damage anything?

And it won't let me use brake hold, sport mode or the vsa
Re: Running plus 6 psi, problems after running hard
It's in limp mode
You will need to reset the check engine light.
Probably don't have much power?

Check the ECU error codes. If there are any at all then the sport mode, vsa, brake hold etc will be disabled.

So limp mode is preventing it from damaging it'ssl self right? And it still is driving fine, still putting down 16 psi normally when I get on it. I've only had a chance to drive it a little bit for some deliverys tho. I'll update once I check codes later today.
Re: Running plus 6 psi, problems after running hard
I would not recommend driving hard until you know what the error code is.

So I went into look at the error code, but it wasnot showing up in the error code window. It also had 7 dtc codes? So I don't know. I'm new to this too, so o don't know what I'm doing for real. But I did manage to wipe the codes and everything works fine now. So if it happens again I'll be back.
