+7.5 Calibration

After reading a previous post here: viewtopic.php?f=50&t=20625, my impression is that the TC maximum pressure ratio table values control the boost level. Taking that a step further, would I be correct to say that using the average of the +6 and +9 values for that table would approximate a +7.5 calibration?

E.g. averaging 2500RPM@1.0PA = 2.31 (+9psi) and 2500RPM@1.0PA = 2.11 (+6psi) gives me a 2.21 value. If that formula is applied to all cells, would that provide a reasonable +7.5PSI calibration?

I'm still kind of new to tuning but as far as I know that 2.21 number equates to less than 18psi ... considerably less than even the +6 peaks at. If you apply that to all cells your car will be slower than the base +6.

That was just an example value for the averaging/midpoint function. I'm pretty new as well, but it seems obvious not to apply 2.21 in every cell.

I decided to give a shot and hoped my car didn't blow up. :) On the short commute home, it did seem a bit punchier than +6, but that's probably placebo effect. I'd like to see just how much it can be pushed before risking clutch slippage, just to satisfy my own curiosity. There are enough reports of slippage at +9 and none at +6, so I figured that limit was somewhere in between. It seemed like a good opportunity to experiment and maybe learn something.

I'm not as concerned with whether or not the marginal improvement is noticeable to the butt dyno.
