18 civic sport flashpro wont connect

I'm helping my friend out with her 18 civic sport and has a flashpro. With the key on nothing shows up. She said she flashed it when she received the flashpro in January and shows it in the history. I can't get it to go online to upload a calibration. Also the registered owner does now show up in the tab when I click it and she has registered it. Is there a step I am missing. The USB light does not come on on the flash pro when it is connected to the pc..I've tried different USB ports and still nothing. I've felt with older flashpro's but just dont know why this one wont connect. I hope you guys can help me.
