So I have e54 here in arizona. so I was wondering does the car have like an ethanol sensor on it? or is that something you have to buy. I see in the tune it has something like if it reads this or that "ethonal" it advances timing another 2 degrees. My question is that flex fuel tune is mostly likely setup for e85. What happens if I just threw e54 in it and ran that tune until I could have a local tuner dial her in? Anyone else try this in arizona?
Re: ? with e85 tuning
You must install a flex fuel kit in order to use this and it allows you to use any mixture of ethanol. You should not just dump in E54 and run untuned without a flex fuel sensor and being properly set up.
Re: ? with e85 tuning
Can someone recommend a good flex fuel kit and where to purchase?
Thanks
Thanks
