2018 Honda Accord ECU Clone option.

Post by Joe305 »

Hi,

Long time customer and fan of Hondata. Does Hondata offer the clone ECU option for the 2018 Accord 2.0 as you do for the Type R Ecu? If so, what are the costs associated for this.

Thank you,

Joseph

No, we do not, as that ECU does not need to be jailbroken.

I understand, I just do not want to molest the stock ecu. And want to be able to use a clone option. Please consider this option for the future. Thank you.

go buy a new ecu off the dealership and have them program your keys to it

The ECU can only be matched to one set of keys and immobilizer at a time so this will be mostly pointless and you will have an ECU sitting there that will not run the vehicle.
