It is always better to use adjustable cam gears, fine tuning the lift points will change the characteristics of your motor to have a better torque or horsepower curve. I highly recommend doing some research on how changing the degrees of your cam lobes will change the characteristics of your motor.
Let's not make assumptions, please leave as much detail as possible!

Intake opening 15 deg (BTDC)
Intake closing 45 deg (ABDC)
INTAKE lift - 11.5 mm, duration 240 @1mm
EXHAUST
centerline = 107.50
Max valve lift - 10.5 mm
Exhaust opening 45 deg (BBDC)
