I HAVE TWO ECU ....

Post by EP3si »

:? I'm just wondering, but is it possible to use two ECU's. By that I mean send one to Hondata to be reprogramed, and keep the other one that is already in the car use it until the new one gets back from Hondata.

I typed the same thing in EPHATCH.com. Someone told me that the immoblizer would keep it from starting. I Guess They Don't Know What They Are Talking About !!! THanks !!

It will only work if you get the new ecu keyed to your key and immobilizer.

If its a 2oo2 you might have to go to the dealer and have them program the ECU to accept your keys, its not a hard job just 15 minutes on the computer there....not 100% on this but pretty sure....
