MAP pressure seems incorrect at WOT

Post by schaffertnathan » Tue Feb 05, 2019 11:58 am

What factors affect MAP pressure at wide open throttle? Looking at my datalog, my MAP reading hangs around -1.1 at high rpm, shouldn't it be closer to 0? Am I losing power since it's not as close to 0? If someone could give me all the factors that affect MAP pressure, I would greatly appreciate it!

I have a 2012 Civic Si, with intake and 3 inch full catless exhaust. I have a silencer on the exhaust tip, if that affects anything. I have also attached a datalog of a 3rd gear pull to see, if someone could please guide me in the right direction!

IT can be cased by restrictions and also by higher altitude.

My buddy has a 2015 civic si, and his MAP pressure reaches around -0.3 at high rpm wot. Could the silencer on my car be affecting the pressure that much? Or I was also thinking maybe the cam angle is not optimum? Can anyone tell if my cam angles look good just by reading the datalog?
