Pit Speed Limiter

Post by EGAJohn »

Is there any possibility I could set a speed limiter to approx. 37mph to activate with a button for when I enter the pits? Same idea as launch control but just a speed limiter.

You could try to use the nitrous/Aux parameters to remove all fuel at a specified speed. It was not designed for this, but may do what you want.

To follow up on this I ended up trying the burnout limiter which I believe utilizes the main rev limiter. I found what rpm puts me at 37mph and set it to that on my pit button. Seems to be working good. I'm not sure how safe it is to hold for long periods of time while pitting but we will see if I experience any problems in the future. If anyone has any information on any possible effects, please post them. I'm still looking into possibly playing around with the aux parameters in the future if that happens to be the better option. But for now, burnout limiter will do.
