Traction Control (Software) with CVT

Post by fusionbuzz »

Can the software traction control in FlashPro 3.4.3 be used on a Civic Hatchback Sport Touring w/ CVT? If so, is it recommended?

Thank you!

Just out of curiousity, how come it's not enabled by default on the +3 and +6 base maps if it enhances the drivability and performance of the car?

Thank you!

It is something that not everyone may want. The software is fully tunable you can make any changes you want.

I see. Should I make any changes before I upload the TC settings or just start w/ the default values shown on the TC tab?

I recall reading somewhere on civicx.com that 6% is the recommended slip rate for street tires, but the default on the TC tab is 3%.

The current calibration I'm using is the base +6 one without any other mods, on a Hatchback Sport Touring.

Just use the default values as they should be optimized for a street vehicle.
